A quarter zip is bought for one manoeuvre: you are warm walking and cold standing on a tee, and you want to change that in four seconds without taking anything over your head. The zip drop is what makes it work. Far enough and you can dump heat by opening it and leave it on. Short enough and you are stuck. The mock neck is the version without a collar underneath it, which sits flatter under a vest and looks less like two shirts at once. The sweatshirt cut is the heaviest thing on this shelf and the one that reads as a jumper on the drive home. Everything here is knitted from the same polyester and spandex the shirts are, so it dries at the same rate and it washes with them rather than needing its own cycle. If this is going over a polo and under a vest, take the size you take in the polo.
