01The layer that comes off at the turn
Four cuts in thirty-two colourways: quarter zip pullovers, a mock neck without a collar under it, and the heavier sweatshirt cut, all S to 3XL.
Colourways on this page: Navy Heather, Lavender Heather, Taupe Heather, Red Heather, Grey Mist Heather, Sky Blue Heather, Black Heather, Beryl Green Melange, and 24 more.
Four cuts, and they answer different halves of the same problem. The quarter zip pullover is the standard: open it on a tee and close it walking, and the drop is long enough that opening it actually dumps heat rather than just looking open. The mock neck is the one without a collar underneath, which sits flatter under a vest and stops you looking like you are wearing two shirts. The sweatshirt cut is the heaviest thing on this page and the one that gets worn on the drive home. Prices run $19.97 to $39.95.
These are knitted from the same polyester and spandex as the shirts, which has one consequence people notice at home rather than on a course: they wash with your polos on the same cycle and come out ready, rather than needing the cold, slow treatment a cotton sweatshirt wants. The care instruction on each card is copied from the label, which under the Federal Trade Commission's rule has to be evidence-backed by whoever printed it. Take your polo size. These are cut to go over a collar, not to be sized up for it.

02About these pieces
The layer that comes off at the turn
Far enough to open the chest and dump heat rather than just to unfasten the neck. That is the difference between a layer you leave on with the zip down and one you have to take off, and it is the main thing separating these from a plain crew.
No. They are cut to stack over a collar in the same letter you take in the polo. Sizing up is what makes the shoulder seam drop and the whole thing hang badly on a swing.
The mock neck. Without a collar underneath, it sits flat where a vest sits, and you avoid the two-collar look that a pullover over a polo gives you.
